'Under The Weight of an Ominous Presence' is the second release, and follow up to the first EP 'Whispers of Buried Chances' by Floating Black Prism. While it's bones are still very much rooted in black metal, this release explores further to the fringes of noise, instrumental passages, a rich and deeper use of synth, and the utilization of drum machine patterns. The overall aesthetic clings to the edges of dark as well as more soaring soundscapes. Floating Black Prism is not an entity that is meant to sit stagnant in one particular feeling.
