In a blinding blur of steel, In a hurricane of lashing blows, My sword will sing her death song; A fatal serenade. In a crimson mist of fury, In a tornado of crippling strikes, My sword will sing her death song; A fatal lullaby. Together we cleft skulls, Together we shatter spines, Together we sever limbs, Together we fight and win. You shall not pass! We will not yield! You shall not pass! We will not yield! Litter the deck with a harvest of brains, Fertilise the earth with fascist remains. Litter the deck with a harvest of guts, Fecundate the earth with fascist blood. Off with their heads! kill the bigots dead! The most beautiful fascist is a dead fascist! Off with their heads! Kill the bigots dead! The most beautiful fascist is a dead fascist! Die, Nazi scum!

We were promised a future of roads paved with glitter and gold, Instead we were led down paths, barren and littered with holes. (We were) promised a future of cities built with silver and gold, Instead we were housed in squalor riddled with dirt and mould. We were sold a dream and we bought it, They cast their net and they caught us; Ensnared forever in a capitalist nightmare. We were promised a future of riches, of diamonds, pearls and gold, Instead we were paid bare minimum with lumps of stolen coal. (We were) promised a future of hope, of equality and reward, Instead we were bound in shackles, and enslaved forevermore. We were sold a dream and we bought it, They cast their net and they caught us; Ensnared forever in a capitalist nightmare. We compromise for a better life, Forced into mandatory sacrifice. We survive but we barely live, Under the boot of the filthy rich. We’re penalised for a life of graft, No food on the table or clothes on our backs. We make do with what we’ve got, That is not enough and it never was. Abolish government!

my broken body and exhausted soul ache in harmony for the sweet release of an eternity of sleep; a slumber of perfect infinite peace. I yearn to rest my head upon a pillow of dirt in a bed of earth beneath a granite headboard underneath a starlit Scottish sky. Why do I wish to die with so much life left to live? With so much love in my heart to give? Why do I wish to die? Why do I, why do I wish to die? Mourn not my passing but the agony I’m living in, celebrate my death for it will release me from my pain, cry no tears of sorrow weep only tears of joy for my suffering will be over soon, peace at last, rejoice! I yearn to rest my head upon a pillow of dirt in a bed of earth beneath a granite headboard underneath a starlit Scottish sky. Why do I wish to die with so much life left to live? With so much love in my heart to give? Why do I wish to die? Why do I, why do I wish to die? Suffering every day, suffering for eternity. Death is not the end; we live in memory.

about

TREPREC061

Being a citizen of Brazil, Jaketeme has been affected in a profoundly negative way by the actions of Jair Bolsonaro, namely living in a society ruled by a leader who is responsible for the genocide of black, indigenous and marginalised populations. On this split Pessimista has written about the poisonous effects Bolsonaro has had on the people of his homeland and the injustices faced by the people of Brazil eg. basic human rights being neglected in the name of the economy and capitalism; and the subsequent polarisation of Brazilian society.

Order of the Wolf’s side of the split covers topics such as the rise of fascism on a domestic and global scale and the inherent need to rally against it no matter the cost. (¡No Pasarán!); Government and their ability to manipulate society by making false guarantees and subsequently betraying those who voted for them. (A Future of Promises, A History of Lies); and the round-the-clock struggle of living with chronic pain and mental illness, in a politically unsound society, no less. (Moving Ever Closer Towards the Light)

Pessimista is a one-person black metal project from Brazil featuring Jaketeme who is behind various other projects such as Tiffo, Lerna, Uz and Auto Exílio.

The initial idea to form Pessimista dates back to 2011 although it did not materialise until 2019 due to an unsuccessful search for band members.

Pessimista is staunchly anti-fascist however this isn’t always covered in their lyrics, choosing instead to write about personal problems such as alcoholism, drugs, loneliness, despair and suicide - problems that arise as a result of living in a destructive capitalist system.

FFO: Wolves In the Throne Room, Addaura, Panopticon, Alda, Skagos, Antlers

Order of the Wolf is a one-person black metal project from Fife, Scotland, founded in 2017. Musically inspired by their punk rock and hardcore background, as much as traditional and contemporary black metal alike, Order of the Wolf abstains from atypical black metal lyrical tropes choosing instead to focus on writing diatribes against fascism, racism, capitalism, sexism, social inequality and oppression as well as deeply cathartic topics such as mental health struggles, addiction, loss and personal philosophy.

Order of the Wolf is inherently anarchist and rages against fascism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, inequality and all other forms of bigotry.
